Lipstick Colors: 50 Shades Of Pink
Choosing the perfect shade/brand/line of cosmetics is no joke. Sephora is awesome, but also super stressful—it’s like a candy store for adults but if the candy was really expensive and instead of a few rows of chocolate, a few rows of sours, a few rows of gummies, there are literally thousands of each. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DECIDE?!
When it came to finding the perfect bridal shade, I did my due diligence—reading online reviews, testing out each color on myself, swatching on my wrist, following beauty bloggers, you name it. But then I arrived at Sephora, with its never ending shelves of product, and panicked.
Unfortunately for my bank account, I simply couldn’t make a decision from the abundance of pinks, mauves and nudes. Fortunately for you all (and my bridesmaids who got ready with me), I got the top rated one of each and can now report back!
These are all long-lasting and non-transfer. Here are my faves:
Marc Jacobs Lip Creme - Sonic Truth (warm pink with nude beige undertones)
Charlotte Tilbury - Bitch Perfect (nude peach undertones)
Nars - Cruising (Sheer pink with lavender-nude undertones)
Tom Ford - Pink Dust (warm pink and creamy finish)
Mac - Creme Cup (light pink)
Mac - Faux (Mauve pink)
