The Perfect Gifts

I Thought My Presence Was A Present?

No, gifts aren’t necessary, but they’re a fun way to show your appreciation for those special people in your life. I’ve included a roundup of all the gifts I gave out throughout the wedding week, and where I got them from!

Groom’s Gift

I customized a journal with Adam’s initials and wrote an entry every day leading up to the wedding, starting on the day we got engaged. Definitely didn’t mean to copy a famous scene from “The Notebook,” but my writing a note every day for a year was something that turned out to be therapeutic for me and super romantic for him

Socks to keep your groom for getting cold feet! You best believe I had these delivered to him first thing the morning of our wedding…No way was I risking his feet getting anything other than hot!

Mother Of The Bride

Since my mom was also my Maid of Honor, I wanted to find something extra special for her. This Freida Rothman ring was unique and also her exact style…she wears it every day and gets a ton of compliments on it.

Father Of The Bride

I think I had the most fun picking out sentimental gifts that I knew would bring my dad to tears…is that weird? A customized handkerchief was at the top of that list, and let me tell you—it came in handy almost immediately!

I custom made a patch to get engraved and sewn on the back of the tie I knew he was planning on wearing. It said “Daddy, I loved you first.” The tricky part here was having my mom hide it from him until the day of the wedding so he wouldn’t see the patch. When he went to put it on that morning, he was shocked!

For the “real” gift, I got him a beautiful Aspinol of London wallet with his initials on the front. His old one had been falling apart for years, so I always knew this would be the perfect thing to get him

I told y’all I went a bit crazy with gifts for my dad! There were just so many fun opportunities to get him tearing up! Special Socks For A Special Walk was another one of those! They came in a box that said “Dad, Of All The Walks We Have Taken, This Is My Favorite”…I’ve never seen my dad cry so hard as he did when opening this gift!

Mother Of The Groom

I somehow didn’t get a picture of the one I made, but it was this bracelet and I engraved “Thank You For Raising The Man Of My Dreams” on it. For Mother-In-Laws who like dainty jewelry, this is the perfect thing to have made. She wears it every day and loves showing it off to her friends!

Father Of The Groom

Matching the Mother Of The Groom’s gift, I had a Handkerchief made that said “Thank You For Raising Your Son To Be The Man Of My Dreams”
