It was my sole mission to create a living room space that would be cozy, functional, and obviously look good. What’s the point of having a high-end sofa that guests are afraid to sit on? Or a crisp white rug that I KNOW is going to be a stain-magnet with a dog (and husband) around? I want our house to be one that friends and family can relax in, without fear of ruining something! With this in mind, I chose pieces that were affordable, comfortable, and neutral. Furniture can be pricey, so I wanted to pick items that wouldn’t go out of style and that I wouldn’t get tired of, so neutrals are always a safe bet. You can add in pops of color with things like throw pillows and coffee table decor!
